◆not… any more, not… any longer, no more和no longer
1. 涉及数量程度用not… any more 或no more。
He has no more trouble.他不再有烦心事。
I don't want any more. 我不要了。
There is no more milk in the cup.杯子里没有牛奶了。
2. 表示时间延续多用not… any longer，意思等同于no longer。
He didn't live here any longer. ＝He no longer lived here. 他不住这里了。
He didn't work here any longer. ＝He no longer worked here. 他不在这儿干了。
注意：He doesn't come here any more.这句话中不用any longer，因为any more多与非延续动词连用。

◆由as/so 组成的形容词或副词短语
1. as much as＋不可数名词数量，意为“多达”
Each stone weighs as much as fifteen tons.每块石头重达15吨。
2. as many as＋可数名词数量，意为“多”
I have as many as fifteen books.我有十五本书呢。
3.  as far as意为“远到；就……而知(论)”
As far as I know, he has been there before. (就我所知)
4. may (might, could)as well意为“不妨，不如(爽快)”
Then you might as well stay with us here.那么你不妨和我们一起待在这里。
